Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari addressed a gathering in Chitral, shedding light on the failure of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)-led coalition government. According to Bilawal, the root cause of this failure was the prevalence of “vengeful politics” among the former ruling parties. He emphasized that the lack of focus on serving the public by these parties hindered the fulfillment of the targets set by the PPP for the coalition government.

In a passionate appeal, Bilawal expressed his concerns about the traditional ways of old politicians, asserting that their intentions to settle personal scores after coming into power would only exacerbate the nation’s sufferings. He pointed out that revenge politics seemed to be the primary agenda rather than addressing the needs of the public.

Bilawal’s Performance-Based Election Campaign

As Bilawal gears up for the upcoming elections on February 8, he has launched a campaign focusing on performance rather than promises and slogans. Addressing supporters in Chitral, the PPP chief highlighted his 16-month-long stint as the country’s foreign minister, emphasizing that his candidacy is grounded in tangible achievements and plans for the future.

The young politician urged the older generation of politicians to step aside, asserting that the youth demands a departure from outdated political practices. While acknowledging the experience of seasoned politicians, Bilawal criticized their 70-year-old politics, attributing damage to the country. He expressed a desire for a PPP member to become the country’s prime minister, emphasizing the party’s capacity to govern both the country and its provinces effectively.

Bilawal’s Vision for the Future and Call to Action

In a fervent address to the rally attendees, Bilawal outlined his vision for a progressive Pakistan. He stressed the importance of younger politicians taking the lead and urged the audience to consider the impact of old politicians on the nation’s future. Bilawal expressed concern about the direction the country is heading, vowing to complete his mother’s unfinished mission with the support of the people.
