Trilingual Declamation, Essay, & Painting Competitions Held at Shah Abdul Latif University

The Trilingual Declamation, Essay and Painting Competitions were held at Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur jointly organized by the Character Building Society (CBS) and National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Sukkur. Prof. Dr Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto, Vice Chancellor presided the events while Mr. Imran Ali Mangrio, Additional Director Awareness and Prevention (A&P), NAB, Sukkur was the chief guest.
While talking to participants Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto said self assessment is very essential factor as far as self accountability is concerned. It is our collective duty to eradicate the menace of corruption. Dr. Ibupoto said youth could contribute positively for the propagation and in the dissemination of the concept of self accountability in the society. The Vice Chancellor appreciated the firm commitment of NAB for creating awareness among the youth because youth will render their services in public and private sectors.
Mr. Imran Ali Mangrio said this wing aimed at to disseminate the awareness, prevention and enforcement. The students of the University performed very well and in befitting manner. The Character Building Society is rendering marvelous services for the students in their character building and to promote the values of integrity, ethics, and morality. He said there should be sense of responsibility for everyone to realize the concept of self responsibility in professional life. We all are accountable before the God, he added.
Prof. Dr. Taj Muhammad Lashari, Dean Faculty of Social Sciences said the NAB as premier anti corruption agency is performing dynamically in the society and working against the corrupt practices, fraudulent acts and money laundering. He said that thousand of Character Building Societies are working in Public Sector University in view of NAB Ordinance. Dr. Lashari accorded his special thanks to the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Khalil Ahmed Ibupoto and Mr. Imran Ali Mangrio for spearing their precious time to witness different sessions held over there.
Prof. Dr Sajjad Ali Raeesi, Director Institute of Islamic Studies also spoke. He said self accountability is good virtue according to Islamic injunction. He said self accountability creates the fear of God so it is very essential to follow the Islamic path as far as accountability is concerned.

In the English Declamation Contest Ms, Aisha Akhtar Ms. Saba Aman and Mr. Ghulam Hyder Mir secured first, second and third positions respectively. In Urdu Contest, Mr. Shahzad Zeb, Mr. Asad Abbas and Mr. Jawad Hussain secured first, second and third positions respectively while in Sindhi Contest Mr. Muhammad Bux, Mr. Asif and Mr. Mehtab Ali got first, second and third positions respectively.
In English Essay Competition, Mr. Abrar Ahmed Ms. Soohn Perah Narejo and Mr. Waseem Mashoori secured first, second and third positions respectively. In Urdu Contest, Mr. Shahzad Zeb, Mr. Sagar Ali and Mr. Allah Rakhio secured first, second and third positions respectively while in Sindhi Contest Mr. Asif Ali, Mr. Muqeem Ali and Mr. Danish Ali secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In Painting Contest, Ms. Rabab Fatima, Mr. Sartaj Ali and Mr. Shahid Ali got first, second and third positions respectively.
Dr. Muhammad Ramzan Kolachi, Mr. Mujeeb-ur-Rehman Solangi and Mr. Irfan Ali Lashari were the judges of the contests. The Certificates of Appreciation were distributed among the winners.
Mr. Muhammad Murad Pirzada, Mr. Ghulam Mujtaba Jatoi, Ms. Shazia Solangi, Mr. Zohaib Shafqat Memon and large number of students attended the events.
Dr. Ali Raza Lashari and Mr. Abdul Razzak Baloch conducted the proceedings of the event.
