پاکستانی سامعین اور لسنرز کانفرنس

آج ریڈیو لسننگ میں اتنے مسا‏ئل اس وجہ سے آئے ہیں جب سے نشریاتی اداروں نے بیش بہا قیمتی انعامات سے نوازنا شروع کیا ہے۔ دوسرا مسلہ یہ ہے کہ ہمارے پاکستان میں اتنے لسنرز نہیں ہیں جتنی لسنرز کلبوں کی بھرمار ہے۔ افسوس کے ساتھ یہ لکھنا پڑ رہا ہے کہ جیسے اسٹیج ڈراموں میں ون مین شو کا کردار ہوتا ہے ویسے ہی یہ لسنرز ایک کلب بنا کر صدارت اپنے پاس رکھتے ہوئے فرضی ناموں سے عہدوں کا انتخاب کرتے ہیں یا اپنے ہی گھر کے افراد کو فرضی عہدوں سے منسلک کر دیتے ہیں۔ ریڈیو کی ایجاد اس وقت ایک اچھوتا کارنامہ تھا تا کہ کوسوں میل دور بسنے والے باشندوں کو تازہ ترین حالات سے آگاہ کیا جائے۔ مگر یہاں تو حالات کی بجائے انعمات کی بات کرنی چاہئے کیوںکہ سامعین اب انعمات کی تفصیلات غور سے سنتے ہیں۔ المیّہ یہ ہے کہ زیادہ تر سامیعن کی تعداد میں ایسے افراد شامل ہیں جن کی تعلیم میٹرک سے زیادہ نہیں ہے اور پھر مزے کی بات یہ ہے کہ یہ افراد خود کو طرم مار خان سمجھتے ہیں۔ ہر نشریاتی ادارے کی اپنی پالیسی ہوتی ہے کہ نشریات کو کن دائروں میں پیش کرنا ہے، اپنے ملک کی زبان و ثقافت اور اپنے ملک میں بسنے والے لوگوں کی تصویر کشی کرنا ان کا سب سے بڑا فریضہ ہے اور ایسا کرنا بھی چاہئے۔ ہمارے سامعیں سالہا سال سے ان نشریاتی اداروں کے ثقافتی پروگرام سن رہے ہیں کتنے ایسے افراد ہیں جو کچھ سیکھ سکے ہیں؟
اسکے برعکس نام نہاد نمائیندے یعنی ڈاکّیے بھی سرگرم ہیں کہ وہ ایک نشریاتی ادارے کے نمائیندے بنے ہوئے ہیں، نمائندگی کسی ایک ادارے کی ہوتی ہے مگر شرم کی بات یہ ہے کہ ایسے نام نہاد نمائیندے یعنی ڈاکیے ایک سے زائد اداروں کے ساتھ منسلک ہو کر شرمندگی کا باعث بنے ہوئے ہیں۔ ایسی حرکتوں سے معاشرے کی منفی عکاسی ہوتی ہے، ہم سب کو ایسی حرکتوں سے باز آنا چاہئے اور ان کی مذمت بھی کرنی چاہئے۔
آخر میں ظہور سولنگی صاحب سے ملتمس ہوں کہ سامعین کے لئے ایک ایسا سوالاتی فارم بنائیں جس سے یہ معلوم ہو سکے کہ حقیقی سامعین کون ہس اور کون کالی بھیڑیں تا کہ نام نہاد کلبوں کو سر فہرست لا کر انکے مالکان کو یہ کلبز بند کرنے پر مجبور کیا جائے۔ اگر وہ نشریات سننا چاہتس ہیں تو سنیں مگر جھوٹ پر مبنّی قائم شدہ کلب کے پلیٹ فارم سے نہیں بلکہ انفرادی سامع بن کر اور وقار سے۔

I would like to appreciate this kind of to-the-point and factual discussion among the listeners on the matters of listeners in Pakistan. There is no doubt to say that, listening is quiet a nice and interesting hobby since the years and still this form of entertainment, information and education is so fast, active and easy to reach in many parts of the world, even today this world is called a Global Village; the village of cable TV, cell phones, internet and the social networking sites like face book and twitter, etc. As to the Pakistani listeners and my experiences and observations is concerned on the world level radio listening, I do admit that, there is a very small number of loyal listeners to the radio station broadcasting from around the world. And these days the number of true LISTENERS is decreasing day by day because of the few listeners at the some the radio stations as they are doing the things which are not up to the standards and quality of a listener. A listener is always and throughout the years is any how not bounded to collect send letters to the radio stations on his own expenses. Every one knows that, a city in Pakistan has more than 100 listeners clubs registered at an International radio station, which means that, even a club contains 10 members, the number of listeners there will become 1000, but I personally know that, there are only 15 to 20 listeners in that city!!
In our part of the world-Pakistan, listeners belongs to the lower and middle class of the society, so they can not afford to organize big gatherings and listeners conferences to promote listening here, though they can held small types of exhibitions regarding the printed material and other things/prizes of the radio stations. I do believe that, listening is quite an amazing and attractive hobby, which connects us to those whom even we have not seen for the years, but the relation of voice makes us closer to each other and even a single word we listen from the radio makes an impression on us about the broadcasters and even about that country from where the airwaves are coming to us. This relation is the relation of truth, confidence and friendship. Without these things, none of the relation can sustain in the world. What kind of impression broadcasters and the management of the radios can get from the fake activities and reports reaching them from our country? It is easy to assess and know. A true relation can not be established between two sides, where one side is sincere and other one shows great selfishness.
In the early days, when I have started listening to radio, I was very much surprised to see on many times that, the news, information and entertainment we get from radio was always reliable and up to our needs what we want to have from a radio station. But on the other hand, gradually it was a very disappointing fact to see that, many listeners have established fake listeners clubs and reporting fake activities regarding their clubs to the radio stations of the world, means that those radio stations have never got the true and sincere response in the terms of listening from us what an International radio station really wants and like from its listeners. No bout to say that, many rather most of the listeners in Pakistan wants to have personal contacts and friendship with the people working at the radio stations, so that they can benefit from the prizes and other benefits from the radio stations when ever they want to do something with the cooperation of the listeners. For this purpose most of the listeners consistently reporting about their club activities to the radio stations; though more than 90 percent of those activities have never happen on the ground, but have only came from the minds of those listeners heading their clubs. And the very teasing fact is that, this only happens in our lovely Pakistan on the name of active listening. Also it is the matter of the fact that, even any listener wants to continue his listening as it should be, he gets the reward of his listening what it should be, but on the important and turning points those liar and so-called active listeners are rewarded as the best and loyal listeners. At this point, I also would like to admit this matter regarding this discussion that, even few of the radio stations are also encouraging those fake clubs and their leaders to keep continue their activities even those not take place, but because they have to show their listening in the most parts of the world, they have to do that. ROZI ROTI KA SAWAL BHI HAY YAAR. Even those radio stations have been observed and seen that they can not include those letters which are not up to their policies and thoughts even with the caption like the newspapers; Murasla Nigar ki raye se hamara muttafiq hona zaroori nahin! It means that, they only want to see and hear what they like. And if you don’t to do that, you can be out of the radio station and all immunities and kindness from there! To Apna Mind clear karo aur radio walon ko inspire karo any way any how, this is the policy today!
The radio stations like BBC have never ever encouraged such listeners throughout the years and we can see that BBC have the loyal listeners and well educated too, they never demand even program guide and yearly small calendar from this quality radio station since years. So I must say that, we the listeners have to become the listeners, not the chasers of prizes and other immunities and facilities and on the other hand, radio stations too have to reconsider their policies towards the listeners, their listening activities and the rewards and blessings in the results of their listening.
You can never stop/assess this type of listeners with the uploading and distributing the forms regarding the number of true listeners, Pakistani listeners are very master minds of JUGAAR.
True listening and true behavior comes from the inner side of the heart and mind.
