Our journey in digital journalism began with an innovative start in 2008, when we established a specialized forum for radio broadcasting enthusiasts and news exchange. An early record of this can be found on the Internet Archive at this link. Through this platform, we formally commenced the publication of news in both English and the local language, Urdu.

Driven by a commitment to public-interest journalism and the evolving trends of digital media, we expanded our expertise through various stages, including ‘Indus Today’ and other digital products. As a result of this 15-year digital evolution, journalistic resolve, and continuous technical experimentation, "Urdu Today” was officially founded on April 27, 2021.

For the past five years, Urdu Today has operated uninterrupted as an independent, sustainable, and impartial digital news portal in Pakistan. This journey, which began in 2008, has navigated various technical challenges to reach its current stage of maturity
